Colonel Saif Ben Abid Al Mihairy, is Board Chairman of Accountants & Auditors Association, UAE; with a focus on the promotion and development of the accounting and auditing profession in the UAE. He represents the association before different authorities in the country and globally, driving the vision and strategy adopted by its Board of directors.
Colonel Saif majored in finance from Emirates University in 1986 and started
working in the internal audit department in Dubai Police. Over the years he moved onto different divisions within Dubai Police and currently serves as the Director of Finance Department in Dubai Police. Under his leadership the General Department of Finance of Dubai Police has been awarded the Most Outstanding Finance Department award for two consecutive years in 2010 and 2011 from Government of Dubai.
The Institute of Certified Management Accountants is honoured to induct Colonel Saif Ben Abid Al Mihairy to the Global Accounting Hall of Fame® for his services to the profession in the United Arab Emirates.
