Dr. Noe Quiñanola is the Managing Partner of N. G. Quiñanola & Co., CPAs and the Principal Managing Consultant of Quiñanola Consulting, and the Chairman of the Board of Accountancy in the Philippines.
He previously served as President of Southwestern University. He is connected with the University of San Jose – Recoletos, where he held the positions of Director, CPA Review Center; Comptroller and Professor in the Graduate School. He also previously worked with Sycip, Gorres, Velayo & Co., CPAs as Staff Auditor; with Sea-Land Service, Inc. – Saudi Arabia as an Accountant; and with Lear Automotive Philippines, Inc. (formerly United Technologies Automotive Philippines, Inc.) as Plant Manager.
Dr. Quiñanola obtained a Bachelor of Science in Commerce majoring in Accounting (BSC), a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE), a Master in Management (MM), and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of San Jose – Recoletos in Cebu City. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City. He also earned his Certificate of Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P).
In recognition of his expertise in the field of accountancy, the President of the Philippines appointed Dr. Quiñanola as the Chairman of Board of Accountancy, the highest governing Professional Regulatory Board for accountants in the Philippines.
Dr. Quiñanola is a Certified Public Accountant, a Professional Industrial Engineer, a Certified Investment Solicitor and an Environmental Planner. He is also very active in professional organisations, and he is a Past National Vice President for Public Practice of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
